I didn’t take a picture but a fried green tomato sandwich with Remoulade was an A+ dinner tonight. And @lynnever.bsky.social brought dessert including brownie batter “hummus” which I have previously mocked but is actually delicious despite not being hummus by any stretch of the imagination.

They’re just gonna keep accepting Republican framing and running right until conservatives like them.

Me too! I wish my body would recognize any veggie protein but it is such a jerk about it. Animal or gtfo. But I love veggies and I would happily just ignore meat half the time.

Green from the garden for two different applications. Fried green tomatoes (to go on po’boys with bacon and pimento cheese for dinner tonight, why not), and herbs for some turkey breakfast sausage hash for my mom this week. 🌱🍽️🍜
