Green from the garden for two different applications. Fried green tomatoes (to go on po’boys with bacon and pimento cheese for dinner tonight, why not), and herbs for some turkey breakfast sausage hash for my mom this week. 🌱🍽️🍜

I just charred some green tomatoes for salsa purposes. Tis the season.

I didn’t take a picture but a fried green tomato sandwich with Remoulade was an A+ dinner tonight. And @lynnever.bsky.social brought dessert including brownie batter “hummus” which I have previously mocked but is actually delicious despite not being hummus by any stretch of the imagination.
