There's a war and the Palestinians and other Iranian puppets are are losing. As long as that doesn't change you can give it whatever label you want.

Obviously Vance's views are a dog whistle, but isn't there something to the idea that if American population actually started shrinking (like Japan) we might see some home values crater a bit?

Palestinians should not have started this war. Israel took steps to minimize casualties but this is unfortunately a necessary and just war.

The thing is though that's not really why housing is expensive. No one is stopping people in California from moving to places like North Carolina with affordable exurban housing. Housing is actually expensive bc it improves the coolness of a region by pricing less cool people out.
