On a sweeter note, found the "cherry tree" carnival game of my youth is still in use. After adjustments for inflation, pretty sure $1 a pick today is cheaper than it was in 1990.
Doug Emhoff was in my hometown today-pretty cool for a town of 24k! I didn't meet him because I was at a parade in my ancestral hometown, 20 rural miles away. No Dems in the parade, but there were teen boys with bats in a "border patrol" vehicle throwing re-used mardi-gras beads at kids.
