Yes it is, very difficult to write those well. The closest to a good quality Heinlein juvie I've seen is Okrafor's Binti, which is excellent in many ways but really captured the spirit of the thing. There are lots of imitators of _form_ and that's just not cutting it. It's the emotional experience.
If you could enthuse at a moderate volume that would be preferable, but I'll understand if you get too excited. 😉
