You can read John Yauâs review of her important retrospective back in 2022 at the Asian Art Museum in SF. Her story is very intense, and my favorite detail, âthe Cellar Bar in San Franciscoâs Geary Theatre memorialized [her] with a drink called the âBingotiniâ â a martini made with 151-proof rum.â
