Nothing worse than a crabby customs officer.
(My theory was that if I bought a lot of cheap supermarket sardines it would balance out the stupid amount I spent on fancy ones aimed at tourists.)
"...people call a “seacuterie” board..." WHAT
I am home from Portugal and Spain and unpacking a surprising number of purchases I'd forgotten about! May have gone a bit overboard on the tinned fish thing.
My favourite!
❤️ That was such a great day - thank you for being there!
Such a good opening too.
Oh that's wonderful.
Oh! And Team America: World Police at the cinema. I was a couple of months out of a breakup and it was the first time I'd genuinely laughed at something for what seemed like forever. I wish I could erase my memory of the attack panthers and discover them all over again.
A close runner-up is the miserable rainy Sunday at boarding-school when I went all by myself to see Dumb and Dumber and laughed myself silly. And, around the same time, going with a friend to see Leon terrified I'd be age checked (it was an 18, I was 17 and change).
