I'm not a Luddite or technophobe. I just know that after 466 years the thing on the left can be read fine. The thing top-right is 15 years old & uses tech that already no longer comes standard on computers. And the 30-yr-old thing bottom-right needs specialized antique hardware & software to read.

I'm a maintenance electrician, but I really, really, dislike auto-electrics drawings.

I've a friend in Essex has one in his back garden.

I sometimes take them out along with my Pentax DSLR, use it to get the image I want then use the film cameras for the same, saves on wasting film which is a tad pricey these days.

The one which gets me - and probably most of Scotland - is Loch, it's not feckin Lock!!
