This is true. Especially in post-grad. Networking helps. But there are so many ways to conduct that networking that weren't available back in the day. I'll also concede that lab resources are definitely an important consideration, especially Chem.

$300K is insane. Granted, I come from a STEM background. It's a very universal curriculum at the undergrad level. Harvard uses the same textbooks as a community college.Maybe there's some prestige dynamics on the liberal arts side I'm neglecting... 🤷🏼‍♂️
