Sadly my parents threw away a big chunk of their tapes, because they were stored poorly, but I got the rest of them when I moved out because I was the only one in the family who cared for these damn tapes. I'm happy that I have them because of the memories I associate with them.

Some great memories come with VHS cassettes, which is not surpirising knowing me. My parents recorded dozends of tapes, but kinda forgot about it. In my teen years I started to look into them, and discovered movies like Temrinator 1, Kentucky Fried Movie and Blues Brothers (my favourite!) that way.

At the same day I went to the cinema with my then girlfriend to watch Wreck-It-Ralph. She had her leg in plaster for weeks and got it removed, so we wanted to celebrate it. It was honestly one of the happiest days of my life. Don't know if that's kinda sad tbh.

One more funny memory was at the end of the year at the last day before chistmas holidays. Our math teacher and the one from another course came to us and said that we will watch a movie based on our current subject. We learnt matrices, so we watched Matrix. My first time seeing it.

It was a great way to experience this movie for the first time.

One great memory was watching Jurassic Park for the first time. I saw it in the TV magazine, it would run late at night at ZDF, so no commercials. I put my bed stuff on the couch of the attic room, where we had a second TV, and watched the movie under my blanket in the darkness of the night.

I went to the cinema to watch Pokemon 2000 with my two best friends at the time. It was the birthday of one of them. The cinema was completly empty which ist just magical when you are six years old. We went near to the big screen while the movie was running to take a closer look how it worked.

I honestly struggle to decide for one memory. So I think I will just list some of my favorite movie memories that come to my mind.
