It's Petriphym! This line is based on the Malaysian Orchid Mantis. I also think the last stage was unconsciously inspired by the terrifying bamboo creature from Kong Skull Island.
Last day of #Swordtember! This is my version of Green Lantern's sword from Kingdom Come. Armored Alan Scott is so dang cool.
#Swordtember day 29: Necromancer! My take on Absolute Wonder Woman’s sword! I wanted to study the way Dan Panosian rendered the sword for one of the variant covers as well. Diana rides a skeletal pegasus in it so I’m gonna say she counts as a necromancer.
#Swordtember day28: Crystal! I always thought it would be cool for Star Wars to have a sword made of kyber crystals, and I learned, unsurprisingly, it has already appeared in the franchise! This is my take on it since the only depiction of it was in Lego Star Wars.
#Swordtember day 27: Insect! I wanted to try a more grounded weapon and focus more on the details for this one. I haven't done a tsuba in awhile so it was fun to design one again. I couldn't resist making the blade iridescent though. 🤣

It's Hibbuoy! Since my setting is based on Thailand I felt like I had to design a monster based on Moodeng. Hibbuoy, the floating Pokémon, it has evolved pockets of fat that fill with air when it is stressed. They use it to scare off predators as well as float in water.
