The Bay Area heat wave is real. I tend to bike around when I think about something for a long duration. Today's ride was the mistake.
I will give a talk at MSU next Weds. If your time permits, please come. It will be not exactly the same title, but around the same topic. I'm grateful for this opportunity to share my research and get to know MSU's wonderful PS department and its people!
In the past, I tried to be mentally tough. But I gave up that a while ago. I acknowledge my flaws and find better ways to deal with them. I'm still learning, but I feel grateful. I have good people in my life, including my 6 yo, and we talk about vulnerabilities a lot.
