also, i am fascinated by how conservatives across the board have simply given up on the idea that people can be persuaded. seems commensurate with the return of scientific racism to mainstream circles. people are simply inherently one thing or another according to whatever group they were born into

Thereā€™s also this bizarre acceptance of a one-to-one transaction where any naturalized citizen will automatically vote for Democrats. However, that does seem to go hand-in-hand with the conservative belief that minorities canā€™t think for themselves.

They know that their worldview is not popular and will never be popular. They can win the electoral college, but not the popular vote. They can control state gov if the districts are gerrymandered. They would do away with democracy before compromising with liberals and RINOs. They are fascists.

Surely the GOP could appeal to new citizens immigrants the same way they appeal to white American voters-- by exploiting racist fear of blacks? And loathing of transgenders? And their inborn right to sexually assault women? Unless white conservatives fear immigrants are more moral than they are?
