The main problem with being a mid-teir idiot is that a lot of people you meet are proper idiots. So you get an inflated idea of your own intelligence until you run into actually clever people.
If it's of so little value, they could pay for it without noticing. Odd* that they still don't want to. *Really not odd at all.
Just made my nice-but-dim cat jealous by wiping his fur off the sofa. An action which apparently looked far too much like I was petting the sofa for his liking.
