I hate the "why aren't women having more kids" framing because it begins in the assumption that women's duty is to reproduce and their decisions are wrong. I'd love to see more "what do women want? whats keeping them from achieving it? how can we make that possible?"

As a person who works n a computing-focused field, we hear way too much about the wonders of AI. But someone smart on here said that AI is a way of giving the wealthy access to skill without giving the skilled access to wealth and I can’t stop thinking about that.
Exactly this. There are plenty of terms we could use instead: Employability skills Transferable skills Power skills Let's pick one and go with it! We can drown out that ridiculous "soft skills" language.
