I'm shelving Dr Slump. It's not a bad game. It's really charming & pretty. The problem is that it makes you do 20+ step fetch quests that last an hour before you can enter a 20 minute action stage. It's too slow and tedious. Clearly meant for children or super fans of the manga.
I don't want or need to defend Nintendo on most of their terrible decisions. However, taking down emulators of their current console is well within their right & you can't be mad at them for that. Switch emulators do not need to exist yet & it's not for the sake of preservation.

I have not played a PS1 game all year. I'm kind of in the mood for one. Any suggestions that are not the super obvious games. I'm kind of think about Parasite Eve 2. But I'm unsure. PSP and PS2 games are acceptable too.
In a time where remastering games has gotten out of control(cough TLoU 1-2), a game I feel actually will benefit from it is Horizon Zero Dawn. Just simply fixing the faces will make it a vastly better game. It's more than what most remasters are doing & for only a $10 upgrade.
