Wow sometimes I just have no sense of which posts are going to blow up.
This leans more toward the former but also has a lot of practical advice. www.saramitchell.org/CarseyGoodPr...
I didn’t like Flake when he was a Senator but he went down swinging rather than kowtow to Trump. One of a very small number of Republicans who did. That’s worth a lot in my book.

In 2018 Flake saw where the Republican Party was going and sacrificed his career rather become a Trumpist. *That’s* integrity. Mittens could never.
This gives the lie to the canard that Mitt Romney - who has all the money in the world to hire private security if he needed to - is holding back on endorsing Harris out of safety concerns. It’s not a security issue, it’s an integrity issue.
When Jeff Flake was in the Senate he was one of the 2 or 3 most conservative members. This is quite something.
The Media: KAMALA HARRIS NEEDS TO BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT HER PLANS AND PLATFORM Also The Media: WE DON'T NEED TO FACT CHECK JD VANCE THE GUY WHO ADMITTED HE MADE UP THE SPRINGFIELD STORY
I was skeptical initially, but I am now 100% behind the Harris campaign's decision to limit media contact. There is no upside to having every substantive proposal picked apart while journos let the other guy get away with nonense like "we'll lower grocery prices by cutting energy costs in half."
Just read a magazine article that referred to a philosopher who was active between the 1950's and 1980's as "The 20th century scholar Simon Rawidowicz." Is this what it feels like to be an elder? I don't like it.
