It was time to “move forward” with an execution, despite enough evidence of innocence for the previous GOP governor to assemble a whole commission to investigate. This is, simply, a lynching. And not even a state-sanctioned one, but one carried out by the state itself.

This was a murder. The governor and attorney general should be sent to prison. They willingly allowed a man to be killed despite having enough evidence from the prosecutor to show that he was innocent. Criminal.
