Draw your heart-flame skyward, and rend heaven 🌙

A kalis- a sword with an undulating blade near the hilt, that goes straight down towards the end. Part of the blade juts out into a sort of spike as it meets the hilt, functioning as a guard. Carvings adorn the blade near the guard. The blade itself is affixed to the hilt with golden braces. The hilt is made of carved mammoth ivory, and the pommel is the abstracted shape of a cockatoo's head. The pommel and blade are a near-translucent orange, their features outlined in light orange lines. The blade lies against a backdrop of the sky at dusk; The bottom half of the background is a red-orange haze, going up into a deep purple dotted with stars. At the bottom right is the artist's logo- a crescent moon next to the morning star, between clouds that part below, above the moon's reflection on the sea.
The same kalis as the previous photo, but the blade and pommel now glow brightly and are wreathed in flame, as if it were metal that had been heated in intense fires, or as if it burns with a fire of its own.

A blade of light, from an old Swordtember prompt. Looking back, I think this blade is where my artstyle began to change drastically into what it is today 🌙

A play on the Cordilleran axe, with a handle hewn from a pine branch. 🌙

An axe from the Philippine Cordilleras. The blade is wide, with the top half curved forward such that the edge is shaped like a crescent with the inside facing out and the top edge of the crescent tangent to the top of the axe-head, which in turn is perpendicular to the handle. The back of the axe-head has a long protrusion on the top, serving as a spike. The handle is a pine branch, still covered in its bark. There is a protrusion halfway down the handle, on the same side as the edge, where an arm of the branch has broken off. The axe is on a bed of red soil, covered in pine-needles, with a suggestion of spilled and dried blood.

Hello Bluesky! Call me R- 🌙 I'm a Filipino martial artist and mechanical engineer who dabbles in weapon design. I'm new to the platform and eager to get started. Here's hoping my art adds a little excitement to these clear blue skies.
