The pattern is based on 'brightfeather' by Jenn Steingass - knitlovewool - designed to be used with 2 strands of mohair held together. I've knitted this twice, once with donegal 4ply and this with 4ply/sock and mohair held together.
Yep. There are many strains & the HPV does not guarantee no cervical cancer, but targets the main culprit. I actually don't know if it is anow available to males in the UK - perhaps I should check as my son's should seriously consider their position here.
When it first became a routine jab, I never understood why all children were not offered it. Yes, cervical cancer is a killer of females, but males spread it. There was a big backlash from the religious, saying it would make girls promiscuous. Not sure they understood how it works.
The HPV vaccine is also a really good way to keep down mouth and throat cancers. Everyone of all genders should get it, not just people with cervixes.
Scotland has detected no cases of cervical cancer in women born between 1988-1996 who were fully vaccinated against HPV between the ages of 12 and 13. Vaccines are incredible.
In a large Scottish study, no cases of cervical cancer were found among women who received HPV vaccines before they turned 14.

The really sad thing is that children get born into circumstances not of their making, rich, poor or anything between, but royal children remain under a glaring lens & the media can make, or break. But, the kids are still human regardless of status. Human-first.

The ex-PM's memoir describes his meeting to try to keep Prince Harry from leaving royal life.
