When it first became a routine jab, I never understood why all children were not offered it. Yes, cervical cancer is a killer of females, but males spread it. There was a big backlash from the religious, saying it would make girls promiscuous. Not sure they understood how it works.

Also, like... HPV is warts. While the ones targeted in this vaccine are generally genital, they can also be hand or foot warts (and mouth and throat). Why wouldn't you want to address those too?
