And, I suppose I'm saying that it's important that we appreciate and love the people that are in our life, because you don't know when they could be gone forever. I didn't lose my son yesterday, but there is a father I don't know that lost his.

This is why, lately, I've tried to end calls with my relatives with "Love you" so that if that does happen to be the last time I talk to them, I know the last thing I said was good.

This, I have to admit, is pretty awesome. Only in baseball.
