Most dunks in a D-I game this year is 17 and we've had 10 so far in this one with 15:07 left. I knew there was a reason I came here.
PBP standards are not quite there. Most games record media timeouts specifically, but not all. I'm showing 55 games with less than 4 timeouts in the second half. There are 14 games with the U-4 media timeout listed at 0:00 which might be more accurate. Anyway, it does happen on rare occasions.

It's just difficult to isolate experience from ability. The best players win and experienced players tend to be better than inexperienced ones.
