I think of it, and much of Sloane’s work, as sort of…permission to go hard? (I could never go as hard as Sloane.)

read ASUNDER by @kerstinhall.bsky.social this weekend and it is immersive and also devastating in some of the best ways. It gives me FF8 vibes while also being something of its own. definitely one of the books you gotta read for 2024.
