Hamburger soup in the crockpot, groceries acquired (including Dreamsicle milk, should be fun), cocktail of meds taken. Time to rest.
Just realized we're just under two years away from Ray Bradbury's 'There Will Come Soft Rains'. Which I read at far too young of an age.. and is why Short Circuit and batteries not included make me cry.
Acquired and tried the Oreo Coke Zero yesterday. Tasty, but.. I'd prefer it in the 7.5 ounce cans.
You know that saying about a (party) is a (opposite party) who's just been mugged? Turns out having a car broken into does it, too. Trying hard to keep the milk of human kindness from becoming the sour cream of wrath.
Welp, that didn't take long. Looks like blocking 'kidnapped' is going to happen. Do I also block 'checkpoint'? Or is there a master list of 'keywords used in engagement farming' out there?
Fingers crossed that car repairs are done for a while. I've acquired some parts for my attempt to make a pizza burger and some ideas for a Halloween costume.. if I can get a light-up rainbow bowtie/suspenders and a black hooded cloak in my size.
Maybe it's stress/depression brain but I'm blanking. Is there a term for the 'hand the clerk a list, wait while they get items, pay and leave' model of shopping, as opposed to 'shelves full of items and impulse buys'? Mercantile vs. market?
My wife knows my stance on the shiny math rocks and found a new store for me to explore next time I'm in Red Wing.
