Sometimes I think we need a 'high school cafeteria' but for adults. Pay your money, get your rectangular pizza or Italian dunker (french bread, garlic butter, mozzarella cheese, tub of meat sauce) or plastic tub-o-salad, carton of milk, and sit down with strangers to eat with a time limit.

that's basically the deli at Whole Foods.

I mean... workplaces also have cafeterias.

Enough structure to let people socialize and make friends and if anyone doesn't want to be friendly they don't have to pay and go in.
