At one point I was playing Yakuza 0 with an inventory full of Mountain Dew but I never got around to finishing it. It really bothered me that it was not the era appropriate Mountain Dew art also.

Yep lmao like...that IS a problem that would affect them but even if those rules didn't exist they couldn't have launched tipping

I just think this makes it more egregious because a) it was spelled out in very plain language "you literally can't do this thing" and b) it can't be framed as some kind of morality police taking cohost down

I will add one note here: while Stripes NSFW rules went back years, they're kind of a red herring because Stripe has also for years just had a blanket rule against user profile tipping. Even if Cohost had zero porn they couldn't have done tipping.

Trying to imagine what it'd take for me to yell at a server. Like if I ordered an omelette and they brought me a bowl of rats? But I'd probably still just be like "I'm sorry, you seem to have brought me someone else's bowl of rats."

The relationships are fine but I would not watch a show about these people's home lives exclusively

I don't think the amount needs to be zero but the amount of romance subplot footage needed to be at least half

Honestly all of the relationship stuff needed to be dialed way down but I assume the Jim/Pam stuff is what made them do this
