Pretty wild to have been awarded an ERC Advanced Grant! Even wilder that Manchester got 7, same as 🇩🇰 or 🇫🇮 & more than any other UK uni (what golden triangle??)… mine is about how intragenomic conflicts shape long-term bacterial genome evolution.
