I'm curious - what's your view on the interplay between pensions & housing? I often wonder whether an outcome of the 2008 crisis was an increase in 2nd home ownership for rental as the most secure pension investment. Would higher pension security increase housing availability?

On the flip side, taking a Dutchie to the North of England - where befriending strangers is a sport - that was an interesting experience. Years later, I still don't think he's fully recovered.
