This is my concern too. GRRM has, purposely or not, announced open season on people who are enjoying the show. And the toxic element are going to have a field day because they now feel fully vindicated
GRRM can criticise what he likes. He’s the author of the work after all. Are some of his criticisms a bit petty given that he comes from a tv writing background? Little bit, yeah. What got him into trouble was spoiling stuff for S3 because he was annoyed. That’s what prompted the HBO response
