I don't want to diminish this study but it's important to lead with the fact it was an unvaccinated cohort infected during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020. I tell her I can’t believe that I am living in the pandemic’s fifth year but she insists that I need to keep things in perspective and so she reminds me that the 20 warmest years on record have all occurred in my lifetime which I must admit does not make me feel any better.
