(# 4) Long story short, me being afraid of my own mother kept me from dying of hypothermia and I really think that says something. 👍
(# 3) I did that because I couldn't pull myself back up. Instead I carved my way through and got out just fine! Of course I was soaked in freezing water and ran back inside. I didn't want to get beat by mum for having gotten my clothes wet, so I stripped them off and changed.
(# 2) It was very normal for me to go off on my own so no one noticed or cared (undiagnosed ASD woohoo!). I got pretty far out on the ice and it was decently stable, until it wasn't. I fell through the ice. I immediately started punching my way through the ice back to shore.
18. (# 1) Here's an early memory of mine. When I was younger we lived out on a lake and during the winter I'd like to go ice-skating with my family. Dad would normally check to see if the ice was thick enough to skate on but one day I didn't want to wait for him to get home. I went by myself.
