It occurs that the answer to WWMDD will always be 'yell until someone brings you food' and that's probably the model I'll be adopting from now on.
That's probably true of all social media in time, but for now they're riding it out to the tune of billions. I never even signed up for Threads out of curiosity - it's already clear that Instagram is in its future, and I have no interest in ending up on a platform I've already left :)
I suppose 'worse'depends on perspective. Once you acknowledge that their business isn't about enabling genuine connections between people, but about profiling the living shit out of them to trouser ad spend, the algorithm is doing a spiffy job :) Also, Google :)
