You can tell by his repeated use of "one of the.." that he hasn't gotten out of the 1970s thinking that I used to argue with my father about...
Can confirm. We had a collective fear of rain forecasts here in Houston for about 3 or 4 years after Harvey. Now it's below freezing temperatures. And they give a power grid forecast with weather, too.
I wonder if this works on LinkedIn...
They also forgot that Texas won't allow voters to add it to the ballot until 2/3 of the legislature puts it on there, so that's another "send it to the states" that was never going to be decided by the people.
That's the worst possible decision for anyone trying to watch a serious debate. Vance does nothing but intentionally lie out of his asshole, and Walz has a folksy style that might not have 100% precision. So both of those become fodder for the other to point and say "lies!". Ugh. A waste of time.
The reason why I'm skeptical that it's just "letting him know the victory plan incase he wins the election" is because he's already personally aware that Trump is transactional. I know, I know - there's nothing else to see here. But it's a really bad look - especially given the past.
Did they?!! Wow - I'll have to work on my feeds, because I never saw anything about it or heard about it on my news podcast roundup. Thank you! At least that makes more sense now - but still not settling with me that he met with Trump to discuss his war plan.
That's definitely the same "we beat Medicaid" glitch. I still want to know why he was meeting with Zelensky - who initiated it and why? And if he met with Kamala as well, why didn't they appear together and make a statement.
I'm in Houston as well, where we have Christian barber shops, Christian Dance academies, Christian gyms, Christian whatever. "Have a Blessed day" is a common phrase here, because there is a strong culture of "Christian". It's not nationalism, but it does feel like intentional cultural dominance.
I feel like he's going to steal it.
