How would you feel about rent stabilization (rent increases limited to inflation) on buildings older than, say 50-70 years? I'm in the northeast where housing is stupid old and expensive. A slight tangent, but I'll mention that filtering (old housing becoming inexpensive as it ages) is much slower or virtually non-existent in expensive cities that don't build new housing (luxury or otherwise).
