My cat Salem used to do that. My foster cat though... I'm not feeling the love though she did stop hissing at me. Lol progress!!

My biggest problem is getting her exercises. I put her litter box at one end of the house and the food at the other so she has to go back and forth. Catnip toys. I'm really trying it can't be healthy to be that overweight.

Not hissing is definitely progress. Jake was cuddly from the beginning, but it took Elwood over a year to want more than a scratch on his chin. One night he peaked over the arm of my chair, then hopped into my lap. He’s been a lap cat ever since. I let my cats decide when they want to socialize.
