Other games are thematically tighter but Snake Eater was the most fun to play for me. I wish more mechanics carried over into the other games.

My hot take is that everyone who tries to sell you on this game by telling you about the sex robot doesn't deserve to be a spokesperson for it. That's like a five minute segment that's funnier if you stumble into it yourself. Go play Borderlands if you want more of that.

It was really satisfying to be shit at this game as a kid and then come back to the remake and get shooting stars every other level
