One of the theaters near me has specialized in Indian cinema for years, so it's fascinating to see that start to broaden out post-RRR, so that, say, FIGHTER gets a big wide-release week-one push.
See also how the pandemic-doldrums practice of reissuing catalog titles for a week or two never went away. Some of them have done quite well in slow weeks, such as the Shrek 2 20th anniversary run and the Fathom Events reissue of Coraline. Even my cornfed hometown 5-plex is picking some of these up.
