There is nothing more rewarding than watching @pyOpenSci start to have a life of its own as more people get involved. pyos has surpassed 250 contributors! & our #pythonhttps://buff.ly/3YLWNZN#openscience#science ❤️

I corrected the wording to be technically accurate.

👋  As part of our Editor Spotlight, say hello to Isabel Zimmerman! Isabel is our current EIC, a member of our peer review team, and a fantastic sharer of pet photos. Editors: 🔍 find reviewers 👷 oversee the package review process 💜 support authors & reviewers  ✅ determine if a package is accepted

How do you currently use Python?
I currently use Python for my job as a software engineer at Posit, PBC. There I create and maintain Python packages for machine learning operations tasks such as versioning, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models.
What inspired you to get involved with pyOpenSci?
Leah Wasser came to talk about pyOpenSci at an internal Python meeting! The way she explained the pyOpenSci community, which has created a packaging guide that accommodates zero to advanced knowledge, seemed so welcoming and open that I knew I wanted to join.
There's so much information that is generally assumed when building packages, I loved that there was a community creating material for those who might just be starting out!
How can the community connect with you?
