Sorry to quote post but this was, basically, why I stopped performing and doing comedy. I did not like being known. I just wanted to do my little jokes and make people laugh. Then people started to know me and I fuckin bolted.

Yes, totally feel this. Also, there are plenty of people who enjoy singing and learning to play music but have no interest in performing for others
