i wanna touch on the reactionary movement to ragebait because now people are like "block people at the first sign of negativity" and that seems right but i fear its gone too far the other way, in particular now im worried that i could get cancelled for something i didnt say or didnt mean that badly

like ragebait was basically just say a dogshit take for reactions and not actually to have a conversation about said take and then the reaction to that was just "well ignore anyone with dogshit takes" or "you dont owe anyone a debate" and i get that but also. i wanna intellectually talk to people
i think twitter and other places fucked me up because i like debating people about their policies and what they think the world should be like and then ragebait as well as its reactionary movement kinda made that idea not only incredibly stupid but also frowned upon but im still interested in talkin
