It sucks big, but if it helps, hey paid artists to make art exclusively for the video and they only used media that LP owns the copyright for. About as ethical as you can get for a shitty AI video.
And the music being mid? Well that's totally up to taste. I've really enjoyed the new tracks, but I'm hoping there's some more lyrical meat there. With the new track, it's clear that Riot's music team definitely had a hand in the writing. The lyrics feel very LeagueCore, if that makes sense.
At the end of the day AI is bad because it's almost always unethically sourced, but it's a lot harder to complain when artists are getting paid and you're using it on your own work. NFTs, also generally scammy, but Mike did it in a way that wasn't a scam. He gave people exactly what they paid for.
Mike hired artists to do a bunch of art to feed an AI and used videos they owned the copyright to. They sucked, but if there's any ethical use for AI that was it. NFTs, I'm mixed on. He sold art and music he did himself for a flat rate and didn't do the whole YOU'RE GONNA GET SO RICH thing.
I pulled some files that I don't hate from my older work, 2019-2021 or so. I haven't posted any of it in a long time so I figure it's time to take a look back. This one of Titania is from 2021 โค๏ธ
