Thank you! Iā€™d love to be included in your starter pack, too, if possible.

I've just finished Lady Eve's Last Con, an absolutely delightful disaster-lesbians space caper (recommended by the equally delightful @readingtheend.bsky.social), and I'm looking for witch-themed books to read in October - I'd love any recommendations please!

The "Worker's Rights In Science Fiction" issue of Journey Planet we edited is out in the world. Very proud to have been a part of this with so many amazing contributors. Link: www.journeyplanet.org/journey-plan...

The cover of Journey Planet 84 features workers in two versions of a city. One version where workers are exploited, the other where they have rights.

Today I got to write from the POV of a new nonhuman character so I am officially back on my bullshit again.

Iā€™m reading Stories are Weapons by @annaleen.bsky.social. If you want to understand whatā€™s going on in US media and social media I recommend it. I lived in Russia 1999-2001, and can confirm the sense Russians had then of not having any reliable sources of truth felt like what we see in the US now.

Iā€™m dismayed to see that sf writer E. Lily Yu has posted a lengthy transphobic piece on Substack, taking the stance that sheā€™s one of the few who are telling the truth in the face of a conspiracy of silence. Hereā€™s my public FB post about her post. www.facebook.com/jed.hartman/...
