You need to build rapport, find people of a similar skill level to you, and uplift them around you, build a community.

If you want to grow you need to uplift the artist you like with actual affirmations and find the specific posts that want you to share your content. You need to be genuine and not so bitter. Other people succeeding around you doesn't make you a failure, it means you haven't found a niche.

You've obviously not interacted with mantis in any real capacity if that's how you think they are. If you go up to a stranger and go "I'm an artist, we should be friends, you should tell your audience about me" you'll get stared at because that isn't how you do it. You'll come across as a scammer

Being bitter just because someone has an audience isn't fair. Especially when their post was just trying to encourage the smaller artists who did make the risky jump over.

Do you talk to people? Do you make friends? Building a community takes effort. Do you think mantis just spawned 39k people? No, you have to engage with people and build rapport, and it is going to take a lot of time and effort, and you will need to make content other people want. It isn't easy.
