My latest New Scientist cartoon. #AI

A figure stands before a large screen bearing the words 'Current Research' and says "Investors are so overexcited about AI that we can get pretty much any project funded if it has the right initials.

The image on the screen changes to research display projects in turn:

Had a great time seeing this amazing celestial event! We drove to Indianapolis and traffic was insane. The four hour trip to Indy took us five and a half. the five hour trip home took us EIGHT hours! It was totally worth it though! #eclipse2024#pathoftotality2024#solareclipse#solareclipse2024

Finally getting more use out of my cast iron. Thanks to Nicole and the fantastic dinner we had on Sunday. I made my first every Sheppard's Pie. It turned out delicious! Bonus, lots of leftovers for work lunches!!

Did my longest distance to date! Changed up my intervals about halfway through so I could keep pace wit Kat and Lisa. Went to a 1/1 from a 45/2. It felt good, but I won't be doing that regularly for a while. Check out my track running activity on Garmin Connect connect.garmin.com/modern/activ...
