100%, they have interpreted the mechanics of D&D to make a good game first and a simulator distantly second

For a quick reference I'd only put in in the player reference material. It's most important that each of the players can look at it. That was the players can glance over it for easy questions while the GM is helping other people with more fundamental issues.

Genuinely a big fan of seeing "You're Fucked" come up in a game's mechanics

I LOVE harm as a consequence. I think that really drives home the pressure and the characters will remember that consequence so much longer than 'whoops, my gun jammed'
