I realized that I haven’t taken nice scenery photos this time, probably because it was cloudy and dark. This one is big slug (Meghimatium fruhstorferi) which is indigenous to Japan. It is about 10 cm long. Sugadaira Kogen, Ueda, Nagano #Invertebrate#なめくじ

Brown slug on a lichen & moss covered tree. It has a dark brown line along its side with faint reverse-arrow pattern on the back. The eyestalks are extended.
