Scotland has detected no cases of cervical cancer in women born between 1988-1996 who were fully vaccinated against HPV between the ages of 12 and 13. Vaccines are incredible.
In a large Scottish study, no cases of cervical cancer were found among women who received HPV vaccines before they turned 14.
Wow, that is amazing!
Incredible
Congrats, Scotland. 👏🏻👏🏻 Brazil used to have an amazing vaccine program for decades, but after all right-wing extremists spreading fake news about vaccines kids aren’t being vaccinated. Scientists are incredible. ✊🏻
Still amazing the HPV vaccine was never really marketed towards boys and also only people below a certain age. I went years without it because no one brought it up. I HAVE HIV and it took until a few years AFTER I got my current doctor for that... that it was even brought up (last year). I'm 34.
I vaccinate myself for lead poisoning every 2nd Thursday. I’ve had no negative health issues for years.
And still, some parents refuse it because they don’t want to think about their offspring being sexually active someday.
Incrível, isso vale ouro.👏🏻👏🏻
yo, that kinda rules? Sorry, it rules, not kinda.
They’re girls. Not women. Weirdo
As a person with a cervix born in 1978 I am exceedingly bitter that I couldn’t get this vaccine until I already had HPV.
