There’s no point other than to say that: all of this is fucking bad and the divisiveness in the discourse I see online ENRAGES ME, because it doesn’t fix any of the problems at hand and ONLY ensures continued division to benefit the oppressor class. And I fucking refuse to participate in that shit.

I grew up with cousins who were biracial Black, Puerto Rican, and Korean kids. Kids faced garbage NOT JUST FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD, but my own family, in ways big and small. And I just see how LEARNED FROM NONSENSE AND FEAR this shit is, and it makes me so fucking angry! We are ONE human race, y’all.

I have extended family with Jewish and Palestinian heritage. I worry for my friends and loved ones dealing with antisemitism, islamaphobia, and the general bigotry people who aren’t white face every second of the goddamn day. I think of the deep historical roots for all of this. And I’m so angry.

I’m of the extremely cynical mindset that all this HORRIFIC shit is playing right into the hand of white supremacy and people who should have no goddamn say in how a region should or shouldn’t be partitioned off, or which religion/ethnicity deserves more of A HUGELY SACRED PART OF THE WORLD TO MANY!

I’m in the camp of “all these human rights atrocities are bad and should be condemned, but are not an excuse for even more atrocities ESPECIALLY WHEN ALL THIS IS DOING IS ENSURING MORE VIOLENCE AND GIVING A BUNCH OF RICH OLD WHITE DUDES EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT (more money and power)!”

Just had another hot take rush my noggin! I think ALL OF THIS SHIT, all of this stuff we’re doing right now? The divisive screaming about who and what to support and how and why and when? It’s exactly what oil companies and colonial/military powers want to ensure they continue control in the end.

I’m fine if you disagree! I just think about how often, throughout history, all these world religions have run around killing people and starting wars in the name of their religion or gods and I think that’s VERY bad!! Maybe even the opposite of what the point of religion is???? BUT WHO AM I TO SAY?

That while is it absolutely fine, wonderful and beautiful to have religious belief, that the second it becomes organized, the level of power inherent in its organization makes it impossible to keep corruption at bay?
