everyone gets to comment on US politics, unfortunately you make it our business
I agree non-voting is just going to be ignored for the most part. I would say though that people *don't* really vote Green in any significant numbers. I'm not sure I agree it's been tried.
...part of it is going to have to be about showing that you can't be taken for granted.
short term yes that's right - but I think the thing that needs thinking about is how do you mitigate matters when the democrats *do* win? yeah, part of it might involve organizing within the party, primaries, etc. but I think...
Honestly I do really see why you'd want to keep voting Dem on the basis of domestic policy (not just worker's rights, but holding back the tide of terrible, terrible regressive social policy), but I do think people need to face up to the (bipartisan) harm the US does internationally
I can tell you some great linguistics facts
I don't think so - probably jaded tbh
that detach quote feature is really handy for when you enrage the Americans
I think it would be fair to say they didn't really oppose it though. And are happy to welcome its architects into the fold.
(I deleted a post saying the democrats voted for the Iraq war - which was misleading because actually they were split)
